My precious friend,

I am so glad you are interested in knowing Jesus. No one you ever meet will more dramatically change your life.
  • Do you long for meaning in your life?
  • Do you desire a clean slate and a conscience that is not always reminding you of how you’ve failed?
  • Would you like to know someone who will unconditionally love you forever?
That person is Jesus.

I often meet people who share with me the struggles and trials they are facing. It is my pleasure to pray with them. Praying is simply talking to God. I can do little on my own but I can take it to the God who created and sustains heaven and earth. He is able to do great and mighty things in ways we could never imagine.

Do you know this God I am talking about? He longs to have a relationship with you.

1 John 4:8 “God is love.”

In 2 Samuel 2:2 Hannah said of God "There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.”

Without much hesitation most people will quickly tell you they are not holy. They are not without sin. We realize we are sinners. Even when we desire not to, we fail.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

What do you think of when you hear the word sin? Murder, adultery, stealing, etc.
  • But the real definition of sin is transgression of God’s law.
  • That includes doing anything that we should not do or not doing things we ought to do, thinking things we should not be thinking or wrong attitudes of the heart; pride, selfishness, arrogance etc.
  • There are no big and little sins to God only sin.
All sin separates.

Isaiah 53:6 “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way;” As sheep graze they do not look up to see where they are going they are focused entirely on what they are interested in, eating. Without the care of the shepherd sheep can find themselves in a terrible position. Often we find ourselves in a place we never intended.

So we see that God is holy and our sin separates us from him.

Ex. 34: 6-7 "…The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished;…”

The desire of God’s heart is to lead you as a loving shepherd cares for and leads his sheep. But our sin must be dealt with; it cannot simply be swept under the rug.

Again God took the initiative. He sent his only Son to take our sins on himself and make the payment for us.

God, our righteous judge, loves us and has provided us a way.

It is a historical fact that Jesus lived. He came to earth for one purpose;
Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."

Jesus was without sin.

When Christ breathed his last words on the cross he said, “It is finished” or “paid in full”. There is no longer a debt.
Acts 2:21 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

This is a promise to us. If we will simply humble ourselves and admit we are a sinner and acknowledge that God has provided a way for us in Jesus Christ death on the cross.

Romans 10:9-10 …if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

Why not stop right now and ask the Lord to forgive your sins, cleanse your heart and lead you. He is faithful to His word and He will do great and wonderful things you cannot imagine.

Please take a minute to write us and tell us of your decision.
