What does God expect of you today?

Have you ever tried to guess what it is someone expects of you?
Perhaps as a young person you found yourself in a situation and thought, what would my parents expect me to do now?

Or maybe at work you thought, this situation has never come up before; I sure wish I knew how the boss would want me to handle it.

It makes things so much easier when we know what others expect.
Have you ever thought; I wonder what God expects me to do today?
The scriptures are clear.

Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

It is God’s desire that we respond in a just way with others. Our judgments of situations and people should be carefully weighed out, remembering that we may not have all the facts. Because of this we should err on the side of kindness. While we are doing that we are to walk humbly, realizing we are not perfect but forgiven, and graciously extend that mercy to others.
 
What does God expect of you today?
Apply Micah 6:8, this is a wonderful plumb line for us to hold up to any situation of life and be able to choose the right path.
