New Beginnings

The New Year always brings such a feeling of hope and promise.

It is a time of new beginnings.

Many people focus on New Year’s resolutions but all too often they fall by the wayside and become the fuel for our feelings of defeat.

I do not do New Year’s resolution. I like to get into God’s word in January with the purpose of asking God what he would like me to focus on this year. Often it results in a verse or two that really speak to my heart and give meaning to the entire year.

God is the author of new beginnings. So why not ask Him for your direction this year. Every day is a new beginning for us. God longs to meet you where you are and to have a close relationship with you.
